The bill will be made after Liège-Bastogne Liège, those are words we’ve heard Patrick Lefevre say for many years when being asked to assess the spring campaign of his team. Well, La Doyenne is behind us so it’s time to make the bill! Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) made mince meat of the competition at Liège and won it for a second time. Romain Bardet (Team dsm-firmenich PostNL) and the world champion, Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) joined him on the podium. The women's race saw Grace Brown (FDJ-Suez) take the biggest win of her career, with a very disappointed Demi Vollering (Team SD Worx -  ProTime) and Longo Borghini (Lidl-Trek) joining her on the Liégeois stage. From a sunny Amstel Gold Race over a soaking wet edition of La Flèche Wallonne to Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the fourth Monument of the season. A lot has happened in the past week of cycling. Tom Pidock (INEOS Grenadiers) added another Classic to his palmares, while Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx – Protime) lost one by celebrating too early. The G.O.A.T Marianne Vos went home with the trophy. Those races comined with the battles on Mur de H*y – where Stephen Williams (Israel – Premier Tech) and Kasia Niewiadoma (Canyon//SRAM Racing) were victorious – lead into La Doyenne. It was a weekend for the World Champions as Mathieu Van Der Poel (Alpecin - Deceuninck) and Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx - ProTime) won Paris - Roubaix and Paris - Roubaix femmes avec Zwift. The ways their victories came to be could not have been more different. Van Der Poel went long with a 60km solo and Kopecky won after a track sprint from a lost position.
