Ryan interviews Scott Key, prominent appellate lawyer, president of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, adjunct professor at Mercer Law's habeas corpus program, and all-around nice guy.

Scott talks at length about his recent oral argument in Ga. Dept. of Human Services v. Steiner. The full audio of the OA is published in a separate episode (E04-1). Scott also discusses the benefits of having an embedded appellate lawyer in a trial team--including the immediate effect it has at the trial level.
