Getting to Know the Unicorns: Unapologetically

The unicorns hit the ground running as they begin to discuss some of the major themes that have shaped their lives. danyelle and Dom discuss some commonalities between them as it relates to being young, teenage mothers in college. They realize that they share similar experiences which further deepens their bond and explicitly solidifies their personification of being Black Unicorns. They both have been mothers for the majority of their lives and they discuss how this created an opportunity to navigate a road for themselves.
