12 - 22 - 20 Permaculture With Paul, Jane, and Berit Pt 2

New Roots Community Radio Hour

On this episode of the New Roots Community Radio Hour we continue on to part II where we turned the reigns over to our FIRST EVER INTERN, Berit. After she headed back out to college in the Pacific Northwest, she virtually interviewed her professor Paul and his wife Jane. They own 8 acres, which they have worked to turn into a permaculture site with pigs, vegetables, and a lot of family help. New Roots CO is a local Colorado non-profit that focuses on solutions to bridge the gap between the food waste in this country and the dire need for food. Our physical work may be located in Colorado, but this is work that is needed all over the country. Every other week on Thursday we host a local radio show in which we bring local experts on areas pertaining to food, waste, and sustainability to share their knowledge to benefit everyone.
