He has decades of expertise applying AI to practical problems in areas ranging from natural language processing and data mining to robotics, video gaming, aging, national security, Covid-19, and bioinformatics. Ben is the founder and CEO of SingularityNET, a blockchain-based AI marketplace and chairman of the OpenCog Foundation, a project that aims to build an open-source artificial intelligence framework. Ben was also the Chief Scientist of Hanson Robotics, the company that created Sophia the Robot.
