Born in 2020, From The Outside takes into consideration the national discussion of race and equity in the US following the efforts of Black Lives Matters coupled with discussions about spaces that have been overwhelmingly white and virtually inaccessible to BIPOC. Looking at the outdoor industry and it’s continued problems with inclusion and diversity, Adam Austin, Gregg Deal and James Stout set out to discuss how to make it better. Their podcast looks at how the outdoor industry and enthusiast can break through power structures in an effort to find inclusivity, accessibility and diversity.
