    This episode is something a bit different - I dive into my journey as an athlete, how I found the field of Dietetics, and all the twists and turns along the way.



    Why am I sharing my story?

    My story is my WHY - why I became a dietitian, why I am building a business to help athletes thrive, and why I am completing my PhD in young athlete nutrition. Each athlete has unique experiences that shapes them for life, and mine certainly led to a career in helping athletes improve their lives through nutrition. I know that many athletes can resonate with what I expierenced, and I hope that the learnings in my twists and turns will help you to navigate some of the challenges in your own life.

    In this episode we meet Jan Scholtz (known as @theoptimisticbio on Instagram), a passionate biokineticist with a holistic approach to health, exercise and mutlidisciplinary practice. 

    As practitioners, we both believe in a person-first, individualised approach and using science-based practice to help our clients succeed. This episode is jam-packed with information on health, exercise and optimistic movement.

    4. Nathan Schwartz: RD, PT - Fitness and Nutrition, Simplified

    Nathan Schwartz is a fellow Registered Dietitian (RD) since 2020 and a personal trainer since 2017. In total, he has trained over 150 people - so this RD knows how to make transformations HAPPEN!

    He is the founder of his own fitness and nutrition coaching business, "Fitness and nutrition Simplified", where he transforms lives by simplifying everything when it comes to nutrition and training. His background playing sports in high school got him interested in sports nutrition from a young age. His simple, yet effective approach to nutrition is "everything in moderation". In this episode, we talk about what nutrition coaching means to Nathan, his best nutrition advice, mistakes he sees clients make, and more!
