You didn't know, but Season 1 ended with Episode 11! We realize now we could have told you, but we didn't actually know at the time, either.

We are working semi-diligently to produce Season 2 and it will even feature some people outside of our immediate circle of friends and coworkers, so if you thought we were a little Bay-Area-centric, well, we heard your silent complaints.

Each week all we ever do is pelt listeners with problem after problem, and while this is fun for our jaded souls, we realize it may be taxing. Well...this week we talk with our dear friend and former coworker, Lisa! Who, luckily for everyone, is on the forefront of a solutions based early interventions program. Lisa graces us with lessons on resilience, why and how she keeps doing what she's doing, and reminds us that there are in fact people working every day to instill hope and effect positive change in our healthcare systems. Way to go, Lisa! 

We had one of the most fun and devastating conversations ever about what's going on in that secret society of Child Welfare. And more importantly, what SHOULD be going on? And a bunch of moral dilemmas, and how to reach spiritual enlightenment- just check it out.

We watched some documentaries, we learned some things, we're here to talk to you about how much we hate incarceration in general but specifically how much we hate that people are (not) being treated for their mental illness while incarcerated.  Thank you universe for Jail Diversion programs but also why does every good idea get watered down in practice?

An interview this cool hasn't happened since the second Roosevelt administration. Andria and Julia interview *drumroll please* THEIR FAVORITE COWORKER. No offense, other coworkers, but we all know where we stand. There is SO much to talk about, but for the pilot John episode, we'll narrow it down to Borderline Personality Disorder,  Traum-o-rama to the extreme, as well as some well deserved criticisms of the DSM-V (among many other juicy topics, like the concept of "acuity"). Get ready to laugh, cry, and, thanks to John, even learn something this week!
