    In this episode we talk to Mrs. Rupa Shetty, who shares her story of fighting off breast cancer and what she learnt along the way. She talks to us about her mental health and discusses how her family dealt with this information. She also shares with us why she believes seeking therapy could be beneficial in navigating the challenges that come along with this illness and can also help with the anxiety that may come afterwards.  

    Ms. Forum Lalka, our psychologist on this episode, shares some useful information on how a patients mental health can be impacted while dealing with such an ailment. In addition, she discusses the measures one can take to go through this process better and also discusses how parents can help children cope with bad news. Forum shares her personal experience of when her mother was diagnosed with a benign tumour. She talks about what she did to help her deal with that challenging experience.

We delve into the practice of Vipassana and its impact on our mind. There are several studies that show the effectiveness of using Vipassana, alongside modern medication, to treat mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
