Hey! I am Jessie Vandeberghe and I am so excited that you are here on The Fit Fun Macro Mom Podcast! I remember what it felt like working out at the gym hours each day and living on caffeine and sugar then to binge on dinner at night only to feel tired, exhausted, not getting results and being totally over it!

I was so busy taking care of everyone else that I wasn‘t taking the extra time for my own nutrition! I thought I could out exercise my poor nutrition, but eventually that wasn‘t working anymore for me! I was frustrated with food, binge eating on the weekends and then back to a restrictive low calorie plan on Monday! Barf! It really wasn‘t working for me at all! But I discovered the secret to my success in Macro Tracking the easy way, using a low pressure system that I like to call Macros 101!

After falling in love with my results and the way I felt with tracking, I went and got Certified in Nutrition and as a Macro Coach. I was a busy Personal Trainer who was over exercising and not eating enough for my body and learned how to turn it all around and have food freedom in the process with absolutely no food restrictions and I am here to help you! I am here to teach you everything I know about simplifying food and fitness as a busy working mom.

    The Struggle in Weight Loss, That Isn’t Talked About Enough

    Many struggle on their weight loss journey alone, but often times hiring a Coach in various phases is really helpful and very encouraging to their success!
    Diet phasing is a lifestyle, but although there are no restrictions there are so many outside factors that contribute to decreased motivation and self sabotage.  I encourage you to no stay silent when you feel like you failed and to pick yourself up and keep going.  This is when a hiring a Coach can really be a game changer.  Be accountable, be honest to yourself and to your Coach so that you can continue on with success and realize that you are never alone in your struggle.
     
    I have many options for Coaching.  Many prefer 1:1 Coaching, but I also have my Fitness/Nutrition Bootcamps that are a small group setting where I provide you your calculated Calories/Macros & Workouts you can stream, along with small group motivation and accountability and weekly private check ins with me or

    Quick Tip Tuesday - Pros & Cons To Fat Loss Phase Vs. Maintenance

    I know many of you are or will get to a point where you are close to your weight loss goal and you are asking yourself the question of whether another Fat Loss phase is the right direction for you to head to or should you stay in maintenance.  So I wanted to share with you where I am at because I am about five pounds ish off from my goal and as much as I would like to lean down, I just had to weight out the Pros and Cons to both phases to decide which was the right move for me right now in this season of life.
     
    Ultimately when you listen to todays episode you will realize that yes, I want to lose fat but i am not so worried about the number on the scale.  I definitely don't want to sacrifice my calories I am at in maintenance as I head in to summer, so with many other reasons in which you will hear in this podcast episode I am moving at tightening down on my maintenance phase and enjoying it through the Summer in which I will re-evaluate come fall.
