Problematic Rom Coms

When was the last time you watched a RomCom? If you are anything like Suzanne and Nikole, you grew up on a steady stream of romantic comedies. Whether it was the girl didn't realize she was pretty until she had a makeover, subtle references to SA, stalker tendencies framed as romantic, blatant racism, significant misogyny, or a whole host of other issues – RomComs did not age well.
