    Review: Sony MDR-ZX110 Headphones

The Sony MDR-ZX110 headphones are not going to be the best you will every use.  They won't even be the best you own.  Your Apple Airpods are probably a better product than this.  But these are my favorite headphones, hands down.  Why are they so good.  Why did I start by telling you how bad they are?  Great questions. I found these a couple of years when trying to choose new phones to put in student camera kits.  I had a couple of requirements.  They had to be inexpensive, durable, and take up as little room as possible.  These headphones checked off all three of these. First of all, they are compact.  Look, they fold into themselves and the cord isn't 10' long.  That means I can easily fit them in a camera bag or laptop bag without them taking up a ton of room, or having to rearranged everything just to fit. Second, they are durable.  Since I first put these in camera kits for students two years ago, I have not seen a broken one.  There are plenty of other headphones that I have seen come and go, but these have lasted the longest so far. And lastly, the are inexpensive.  They are currently listed on Amazon $14.99.  That is an incredible price for these!  And don't forget, they are still Sony Headphones.  I worked in radio using Sony headphones in the office, and these are like the little brother of the ones I used everyday. You can have you Bose, and your Beats, and your expensive headphones.  For me, the Sony MDR-ZX110 are the best headphones you can get for your money.  I have a pair I keep in my bag all the time.  I use it for editing video and audio on my laptop.  They are easy to wear and don't hurt my ears when working for long periods of time.  I find the cable is just the right length for working on a laptop or with a camera. If you are in the market for a new pair, or just need a cheap pair to have in the bag, buy these now.  You will thank me later.
