059: The “I Deserve It” Mindset Is Keeping You Stuck In Your Health

In this episode of Boldly Living Your Everyday, we tackle the “I deserve it” mindset and how it might be keeping you stuck in your health journey.  Whether it's rewarding yourself with a treat after a good day or indulging in a "cheat meal" after a successful week, many of us tie food and drink to our emotions or achievements. But this mindset can sabotage progress and create an unhealthy relationship with food.  In today’s episode we dive into why this happens and how it keeps you from reaching your health goals. I'll challenge you to reflect on your habits and break free from the cycle of using food as a reward. Instead of earning your meals, it’s time to embrace a mindset that treats food as fuel and nourishment for your body. I’ll share practical tips on celebrating success with non-food rewards, building a healthier relationship with eating, and finding true freedom in your health.  If you’re ready to ditch the emotional ties to food and finally feel confident in your choices, this episode is for you. Tune in to learn how to shift your mindset and move forward in your health journey! 055: What I Have Learned After One Year Of Podcasting

October 5th marks one year since I launched this podcast, and wow, what a journey it’s been! Just a few weeks ago, we celebrated 50 episodes, and now we’re celebrating one year of consistent, weekly episodes. It’s hard to believe, but we did it! One of my biggest goals was simply to make it to this day, and here we are. In today’s episode, I’m reflecting on what I’ve learned during this first year of podcasting. Whether you’re a podcaster yourself or starting something new in a different area of your life, I hope this episode encourages you to embrace the unknown, celebrate your growth, and keep going, even when things aren’t perfect. Here are three lessons I’ve learned so far: It’s okay to try new things without having all the answers Having confidence in yourself helps you do things you never thought you would do Perfection isn’t necessary Whether you’re thinking about starting your own podcast or embarking on any new journey, I hope my experiences inspire you to take that leap and keep going!
