Samantha's Journey to Nutritional Flexibility Behavior Chef Podcast

    • Health & Fitness

Hey all! Sorry for the absence. Life GOT REAL BUSY. We're back now. This is one of two back logged episodes that we recorded a couple of months ago. I'm so excited to bring you the story of Samantha! I will let her tell you about herself!
Samantha: "I am a therapist, and I have a story to share about how I've changed my own eating habits. I had a pretty typical American diet (heavy in processed foods/ convenience foods). I was sick, and I tried changing my diet as a way to heal some of my underlying health issues. I would go on really strict protocols, and I would see results. However, they were so hard to stick to that I would eventually bounce back to my old ways of eating.

Obviously, a lot of extremes and black and white thinking and behaving isn't super effective for long term change!

I changed my whole approach and found that simple, sustainable systems were the key to making a long-lasting healthy change. I also discovered that I didn't have to be so strict to get the benefits of a healthy diet."
