Cara Clare and James Blatch have created a winner podcast. Their mixture of humor and information is a breath of fresh air filled with inspiration, energy and encouragement. I personally loved the two part episode on how to assemble a winning book. I am still taking notes and checking it against each of my novels. I would like to see a return of a signature piece in the show - reading and encouraging writers by listing their name, writing goal for the week and actual word count. This has slipped as the information they are trying to impart has increased and the number of people on Discord has gone up. Perhaps they could record it separately and add it to the end of the podcast for those who want to hear it. They could even have someone else record it, although I would miss their gentle humor and encouragement. I have now blocked out time and set up my laptop to listen and take notes on a weekly basis. If you are an Indie Writer you should as well.

I love this podcast. Yes, there is good information, yes it’s a little quirky, but the best thing is it’s a place where I feel comfortable, safe, and encouraged! Awesome!

Love the podcast! I’ve been following James Blatch through all the Self Publishing Formula podcasts! I attended the 2022 SPF Live show in London. So much to learn from both of these writers! I’m trying to join the Word Count group on Discord, but can’t find it. Can someone please give me the exact name, nothing is coming up. Thank you! Looking forward to more episodes!
