They are provocative and induce thought about a wide range of topics. Gary’s a bit offensive sometimes in my opinion. Eric is my favorite and is more my speed. It’s worth listening to in my humble opinion. Update: I quit listening. Gary is out of bounds on Trump and is seemingly an expert about everything in his own mind. Instead of questioning why it takes two weeks or more to count votes (many states do it in HOURS!) Gary blathers on about Trump endorsements. Eric is a saint for putting up with his arrogant blathering night in and night out. I’ve moved on to other podcasts. BYE! Update2: I started listening again recently. Gary seems to have settled down with his toxic Trump nonsense. Trump has never been toxic. I enjoy the bits about the polling and the inside baseball. They continue to talk about things no one else does. And their pro Israel and calling out Jew hatred is especially important for me.

They regularly go down rabbit holes and getting sidetracked on topics not related to matter discussed. Difficult for me to stay engaged with this podcast. I don’t listen to the live show due to the number of commercial interruptions.

Gary had a fantastic discourse in today’s podcast regarding the “autonomy of the individual”. For years, both Gary and Eric have discussed the pitfalls of “identity politics”. Several audio clips that Gary played today show that the “victims” become the “oppressors” resulting in a “no-win” situation. As Gary pointed out, some of the individuals interviewed have finally pushed back against Obama and the progressive left wing democrats uttering their recent myopic statements about not voting for VP Harris. Once again Eric so effectively demonstrated how VP Harris uses common recognized music lyrics to get her campaign speech material. As great as this comedic construct was, Eric outdid himself in the same podcast with his hilarious comparison of Democrats to cats. Great Job!! August 2024 I’m a huge Trump fan and I agree that Gary and Eric are completely correct about Trump’s ill-advised comments at the Georgia rally. Trump should follow the Ronald Reagan dictum of not criticizing fellow Republicans. Gary’s advice about focusing on Trump’s record of building and positive issues should be initiated asap. Trump needs to stop being his own worst enemy and engaging in self destructive behavior because he could lose an election that is clearly winnable (5 AUG 2024). I am one of the Red Eye’s “day walkers” and part 1 of today’s podcast was fantastic. I was laughing as hard as Gary when Eric went on his 10 minute Forrest Gump routine. Not only was it informative but also exceptionally entertaining. Thank you!! 27 APR 2023 I have been an avid listener to the program for over 8 years and today’s segment was perhaps your greatest combination of astute political insights and humor. I believe that your assessment on VP Harris as being under the influences of “weed” was hilarious as well as insightful and explains a lot about her public discourse which seems to reflect the disordered thinking associated from THC-induced influences. As usual you both display cutting edge political analysis with hilarity. Thank you from one of your loyal Red Eye “daywalkers”. Response to the 12 DEC 2023 show As one of Red Eye’s loyal “daywalker” listeners who also has the misfortune to live in California, I so appreciated Eric’s characterization of our governor “Kid Slick.” Once again, Eric employs his classic humor to encapsulate an accurate and refreshing political perspective so effectively. Great work by both Eric and Gary.
