We Can Do Hard Things
Life is freaking hard. We are all doing hard things every single day – things like loving and losing; caring for children and parents; forging and ending friendships; battling addiction, illness, and loneliness; struggling in our jobs, our marriages, and our divorces; setting boundaries; and fighting for equality, purpose, freedom, joy, and peace. On We Can Do Hard Things, Glennon Doyle, author of UNTAMED; her wife Abby Wambach; and her sister Amanda Doyle do the only thing they’ve found that has ever made life easier: Drop the fake and talk honestly about the hard things including sex, gender, parenting, blended families, bodies, anxiety, addiction, justice, boundaries, fun, quitting, overwhelm . . . all of it. We laugh and cry and help each other carry the hard so we can all live a little bit lighter and braver, free-er, less alone.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to review. I have listened since episode 1. I love love love this podcast. I’m a therapist and have recommended it hundreds of times at this point. These ladies are such a powerful force and they are a blessing to us all. I enjoy them thoroughly and they have changed my life personally and professionally. Everyone would benefit from listening.

Thank you wonderful women for the post- election day content pivot. I rely on this podcast for many things. This episode delivered exactly what I needed on this day. Abby, your rage was so raw and so visceral it tapped right into what I was also feeling. And, yes, waking up the kids on November 6 was twice as bad as waking them up with the same awful message eight years ago. It was hard, but we all did it. thank you.
Love you 3
