    Presidential Debates; Tariffs; Inflation

    Presidential Debates; Tariffs; Inflation

GOOD: Well, for what it's worth, Biden says he wants to do debates. I'll believe it when I see it.

BAD: I'm a cheap date when it comes to any policy that aims to hurt the Chinese government, but these tariffs are window-dressing that are a favor to labor unions, not a real effort to hit China.

CRAZY: So when Biden says twice in five days that inflation was 9 percent when he took office, is that a deliberate lie, a sign he doesn't remember being corrected, or evidence no one around him bothered to correct him?

Biden's Overconfidence, High Senate Stakes, and Psaki's Falsehood

Biden's Overconfidence, High Senate Stakes, and Psaki's Falsehood

Chad Benson is in for Greg Corombos today; Chad and Jim note that the Biden and his campaign insist that all of the polls are wrong, and that's he actually ahead of Trump. Feeling good, Democrats? Meanwhile, an unnerving observation is that if Democrats keep control of the Senate after this year's elections, there won't be a Joe Manchin or a Kyrsten Sinema around to constrain them. Meanwhile, Jen Psaki's new autobiography includes an error so glaring that even Kristi Noem exclaimed, "Wow, you need to hire a proofreader."

The State of the Media: The Variety, The Rank Partisanship, The Exhaustion

The State of the Media: The Variety, The Rank Partisanship, The Exhaustion

The mainstream media have never been friends of conservatives, but their approach to news - and political news in particular - is far different than it was just a few decades ago. But the media landscape is also very different than it was a generation ago. In today's special edition, Jim and Greg assess the good, the bad, and the crazy of today's media.

Some conservatives may wonder what's good about the media. The simple answer is we have exponentially more options today to seek out and discover the news. Not that long ago, a few different news organizations dictated which stories you would hear about. That's not true anymore. Jim and Greg discuss the challenges that brings but also the opportunity for Americans to have a far more comprehensive idea of what is really happening.

Then, they dive into the biggest problem in our political media - the glaring shift from a leftward bias to leftward partisanship. They explain the difference, how quickly that evolution happened, and why it's such a significant and damaging change to our news and our politics.

Finally, they discuss an inevitable consequence of a never-ending news cycle - media burnout. With an avalanche of stories in our news feeds every day, many people are getting exhausted by it and simply don't pay attention anymore. Is that a good trend or will it lead to a more uninformed public?

Hamas Stops Hostage Talks, Dems Fear Convention Chaos, Why RFK's Brainworm Matters

Hamas Stops Hostage Talks, Dems Fear Convention Chaos, Why RFK's Brainworm Matters

Join Jim and Greg as they sort out three more crazy martinis from the Middle East to political conventions to brain worms.

First, they're furious but not at all surprised by Hamas announcing it is no longer interested in negotiating the release of hostages outside of its offer to hand over dead ones if Israel permanently halts military action in Gaza. President Biden's actions have clearly emboldened the terrorists.

Next, they get a kick out of Democrats fearing their August convention in Chicago will fall victim to huge anti-Israel protests from far-left activists. It's a problem completely of the Dems' own making - not only for encouraging extremist thinking in colleges and beyond but also for picking the crime-ridden city of Chicago for the convention in the first place.

Finally, they discuss the revelation that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. was diagnosed with a brain worm more than a decade ago and use that as a launching pad to explain why major presidential candidates should be required to release a lot of health information.

DeSantis Gives Protesters a History Lesson, Biden Protects Hamas, Biden's Big Inflation Lie

DeSantis Gives Protesters a History Lesson, Biden Protects Hamas, Biden's Big Inflation Lie

Join Jim and Greg as they discuss a much needed history lesson from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, President Biden providing cover for Hamas, and Biden offering a big fat le about inflation.

First, they applaud Gov. DeSantis for supporting the effective & sane campus protest policies at the University of Florida and also explaining to demonstrators that there never was a Palestinian state.

Then they hammer President Biden for turning his back on Israel and saying he will cut off more weapons for Israel if Israeli Defense Forces take the fight to Hamas in Rafah. He's essentially doing everything he can to save Hamas.

Finally, they call out Biden again for telling CNN's Erin Burnett that the inflation rate was nine percent when he took office. It was actually 1.4 percent. Jim rips the president for concocting this fantasy world where he blatantly lies about reality and always tries to make himself out to be the hero.

It would be easier to vote for Trump

if he named Bergum as his running mate. Then I’d be hoping for a medical event to strike Trump.
