Kamala's Anti-Israel Debut
In her first major statement as the presumptive Democratic nominee, Kamala Harris announced she would not "be silent" about supposed Israeli depredations in Gaza. Didn't take long! Also didn't take the media long to begin creating a castle in the air for their new queen to live in, and to dig a grave for the Republican vice presidential nominee. Give a listen.

EMERGENCY: Biden's Semi-Farewell Address
Five minutes after Joe Biden finished speaking we began speaking together about his speech and how...not really good it was and why it wasn't. And then...how good Bibi Netanyahu's speech was and why it was. Donald Trump today said he was going to stop being nice. We're not nice on this podcast, I have to say. Give a listen.

The Kamala Sugar High
The rhapsodic responses from Democrats, liberals, and the media to the first days of the Harris campaign—what do they mean? Are we on the verge of a new political era or is this just the result of the relief being experienced by people terrified of a Biden run in the fall? Give a listen.

Biden Is The Walrus, Koo-Koo Ca-Choo
The idea that Joe Biden is secretly dead seems to have taken hold among people on the Right, which doesn't make a lot of sense except when you consider just how conspiratorially Democrats have been behaving over the past couple of weeks—and how their behavior is stimulating conspiracy theories all over the place. Give a listen.

EMERGENCY: Biden Done, Harris on Deck
In what is our longest podcast ever, we discuss: How sick is Joe Biden and will the potential cover-up of his condition become an issue for his apparent successor, Kamala Harris; how can Democrats complain about the threat to our democracy when they just engineered an outcome voted on by 17 million people in primaries; will Kamala Harris answer questions about policy or will she hide; and how will Donald Trump handle his new rival? Give a listen.

RNC, Days 4...and 5?
We try to break down the Trump speech as we groggily convene to discuss the Endless Night that concluded the convention—with side exchanges very much like Trump's on Hulk Hogan, and Israel, and Hamas, and Ukraine, and the Houthis, and the Secret Service, and the Democratic coup against Biden....Give a listen.

Let Abe finish a sentence
July 2024 edit- please stop talking over each other. Also there are too many of you on each day. Specifically Matt and Seth should be on different days bc they both talk too much.
October 26th, 2021- ugh. Poor Abe. Smartest one of all of you and he hardly gets to speak, and if he does you all cut him off after one sentence :-(
July 23rd 2021 edit-I gave 5 stars again per Noah’s request, but I’m having a hard time continuing to listen with John’s monopolization of the podcast. Give him a timer please. Great podcast. BUT...not enough Abe. Wish John would moderate more like rich Lowry on the editors. You should break up the host appearances (also like the editors) bc John interrupting and continuing to talk so no one has any time is super annoying.
Worthless babble
Just what the world needs, more partisan hacks pretending they know things that they don’t. The number of times you’ll hear this crew assert belief and opinion as undisputed, indisputable fact is staggering. And of course they can’t be bothered to provide an audio clip or a full-length quote that backs up their assertions, much less their supposed meaning and assigned conclusions. Time to leave the stage, kids.
Economy
No conservative has ever offered an alternative economy that they think the U.S.A. should follow. They can’t. The American economy is better than all others. Offer an alternative Matt. Offer an alternative Abe. They won’t. They’ll just complain that “the economy is terrible” without any nuance.
Also Matt, while outdoor rallies aren’t new, countries containing more guns than people in addition to having comically bad gun laws is kinda new…maybe that has something to do with security difficulties. 🤷🏻♂️
