Widdershins has been keeping me company during the pandemic, bringing a little weird magic to dull days and otherworldly magic to what has felt like a time devoid of anything magical. Thanks to Ashley and Joe for giving us this lovely gift.

How many wonders does this podcast hold? Also gadgets and gizmos aplenty.

The Widdershins Podcast feels exactly as intended, sharing dark tales by a warm fire, with only a soft blanket and a hot drink for protection. Ashley’s reading and Joe’s improvisational playing welcome you in and ferry you along their journey through the Grimm tales. They wrap you in their mood, make sure you are comfortable, and then entice you page by page. An entirely enjoyable time spent, the sounds delight, the stories leave you with that slight unease that great tales do. Highly recommended, settle in, listen, and savor what they have set before you.
