3589 Get Your Kids Out of the Gutter

Everyone is all caught up in going viral. Who doesn't want to be seen and heard by millions? Unfortunately, our kids are the ones whose hearts are hurting, but you can get your kids out of the gutter. It's all about how you see them, how you recognize them, and how you hear them. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Now, most of us parents are not sitting around debating what we need to do to keep our kids' attention so they are not lost in a world of lies and hopelessness. Think about it: How important is it for you to make sure your child is seen and heard? Or maybe that's not really something that you've given a lot of thought to. No worries! Think about it now.  How do you communicate with your child so they are not so tied up in the "reactions" on social media? How do you interact with them so they feel seen and heard? What makes your child stand out to you? Think about the gifts that they have; their own personality. When do you make time to see your child without interruption? Where do you go with your child so they know they're number one in your heart? Why does all this matter to your kids? Because we live in a society where going viral and seeking validation from strangers can overshadow authentic connections. That's why it's crucial to ensure our children are not lost in the noise. As parents, it's our responsibility to see, recognize, and hear our kids, nurturing their hearts with love, joy, and hope. And in order to do that, you gotta see them first! The K.I.S.S. ~ See them F.I.R.S.T.! Here are three actionable steps parents can take to elevate their interactions with their children: 1. FOCUS: When parents focus on creating a loving and supportive environment for their children, they prioritize their child's well-being and emotional development. When you actively tune into your child's needs and feelings, then you get to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to nurturing a strong parent-child bond. "When we focus on creating a supportive environment, we empower our children to thrive." ~ Kristianne Wargo This is when you set aside distractions and actively listen to your child's concerns, showing them they are valued and understood. 2. INTERACT: Engaging actively with your child through conversation and activities fosters a sense of connection and communication. By spending quality time together and participating in shared interests, parents strengthen their relationship with their children. "Interacting with your child builds a bridge of trust and understanding." ~ Kristianne Wargo For instance, play, play, play: playing games, going for walks, or participating in creative projects together can create bonding moments, the trust moments that facilitate open dialogue between you and your child. 3. RECOGNIZE: Acknowledging and validating a child's emotions and experiences is crucial for their emotional well-being. When parents recognize their child's feelings, they demonstrate empathy and understanding, creating a safe space for emotional expression. "Acknowledging their feelings validates their experiences and connects your heart with theirs." ~ Kristianne Wargo In times of distress or worry, you can show recognition by responding sensitively to your child's emotions and offering comfort and support. 4. SUPPORT: Providing encouragement and emotional support for your child nurtures their confidence and resilience. We're talking about their self-esteem. When you offer consistent support, you help your child navigate challenges and setbacks with greater resilience and determination. "Supporting our children builds a foundation of strength, courage, and compassion." ~ Kristianne Wargo This can be demonstrated when a parent encourages their child to pursue their interests, celebrate their achievements, and offer reassurance during difficult times. 5. TALK: Having open and honest conversations with your child

3587 Overcome a Body Image Meltdown

The holiday season is meant to be a time of joy, family gatherings, and celebration. But, and it's the big BUTT that we begin to panic and see all that's wrong with what we see in the mirror. You can overcome a body image meltdown. The pressure to look a certain way for holiday parties, family photos, and social gatherings can often lead to what I call a "body image meltdown." Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Suddenly, you go into your closet, and you have nothing to wear. You don't like anything you try on. And it's stuff you've worn before. Yet, now, there is absolutely nothing. You see twenty-two more wrinkles on your face and body. Plus, you feel bloated and plump. So, what do you see for yourself? Fear not; there are ways to avoid falling into this trap. Instead, embrace your true beauty and confidence during this festive time. The K.I.S.S. ~ Embrace your true beauty! 1. Practice Self-Compassion: One of the most powerful tools in combating body image meltdowns is self-compassion. Instead of criticizing yourself for not meeting unrealistic standards, practice kindness and understanding towards yourself. Take time each day to affirm yourself and focus on what makes you unique and beautiful. For example, when you catch yourself in a negative thought spiral, try replacing it with a positive affirmation like, "I am strong, capable, and worthy of love." Remember, perfection is an illusion, and true beauty comes from self-acceptance. "Embrace your uniqueness and focus on your strengths rather than your perceived flaws. Your beauty shines from within when you cultivate self-love and self-acceptance. Compassion grows your heart for who you see in the mirror." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. Prioritize Self-Care: During the hectic holiday season, it's easy to neglect self-care in favor of attending to others' needs. However, taking care of yourself is crucial in maintaining a healthy body image and overall well-being. Make time for activities that nourish your body, mind, and soul, whether it's a relaxing bath, a yoga session, or a walk in nature. Additionally, prioritize healthy eating habits, regular exercise, and adequate rest to feel your best both inside and out. "Self-care is not selfish; it is essential for your well-being. Prioritize activities that bring you joy and replenish your energy reserves to rejuvenate your spirit." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. Surround Yourself with Supportive People: The holidays can be a time of intense social interactions, which may exacerbate feelings of self-doubt and insecurity. Surround yourself with friends and family members who uplift and encourage you, rather than those who bring negativity or judgment. Seek out supportive communities, online or offline, where you feel accepted and understood for who you are. Remember, you are not alone in your struggles, and sharing your feelings with trusted individuals can help alleviate the burden of body image issues. "Choose to spend time with people who celebrate your uniqueness and empower you to be your authentic self. Building a community of support is essential in navigating difficult moments." ~ Kristianne Wargo CHALLENGE: How do you proactively address and prevent body image meltdowns? Remember, your worth is not defined by your appearance, but by the kindness, strength, and resilience you embody. Embrace your true beauty this holiday season and celebrate the unique masterpiece that you are. "You are a work of art, a masterpiece constantly evolving and growing. Embrace the journey of greatness you're on, and extend the grace, love, and compassion you deserve." "Be present. Be incredible. 3586 Persist through Challenges

In life, it's all too easy to feel disheartened when things don't go as planned. Whether it's a missed opportunity, a failed endeavor, or a setback, these moments are tricky to navigate. So, persist through challenges. What if I told you that sometimes not getting what you want is a blessing in disguise because you deserve better? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  It's natural to feel defeated when faced with adversity, but quitting should never be the solution. Each obstacle that comes your way is an opportunity for growth and transformation. Remember, the path to success is often paved with setbacks and challenges. It's how we choose to respond to these hurdles that truly defines our comeback. Instead of viewing failures as roadblocks, see them as stepping stones towards something greater. What if the next corner you turn leads you to exactly where you're meant to be? Are you willing to push yourself beyond your limits and go the extra mile to reach your dreams? The K.I.S.S. ~ Persist through challenges! When you're feeling discouraged, remember that you possess the strength, resilience, and determination to overcome any obstacle in your path. Don't let self-doubt or fear hold you back from pursuing your goals. Trust in your abilities and believe that you are capable of achieving greatness. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo You know this. Take it to heart! Hold your head up high and carry the torch of belief in yourself and your aspirations and abilities. Embrace the journey, embrace the challenges, and most importantly, embrace the growth that comes from persevering through difficult times. You deserve better, and the only way to reach your greatness is by never giving up on your dreams. Walk in step with God. So, if you're feeling defeated or uncertain, remember this: Don't stop when you can choose to keep going. You've got this. Keep pushing forward, keep believing in yourself, and keep thriving because you are created for greatness. Your journey is just beginning, and the best is yet to come. "Be present. Be incredible. 3585 Memorize What Matters

Why do we complicate life so much? Yes, we don't have all the answers. Yes, there are tons of challenges. But if we continue to focus on all the negative stuff, that's all we'll see. Memorize what matters. In our journey through life, we often find ourselves caught up in the chaos of day-to-day challenges, forgetting to focus on what truly matters. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  It's easy to get bogged down by negativity and bad habits, but it's essential to break free from these patterns and memorize what truly matters. Habits fuel our actions for good or bad. Unfortunately, though, it's usually our bad habits that win over our good ones. How do habits form? What does it take to erase one habit for another?  Habits are formed through a process in our brains called the habit loop, which consists of three key components: 1. Cue: The first step in forming a habit is the cue, which triggers a specific behavior. This could be a certain time of day, a particular emotion, a location, or even a specific event that prompts the habit. 2. Routine: Once the cue is triggered, we engage in a routine or behavior that follows the cue. This is the action that we take in response to the cue, whether it's positive or negative. 3. Reward: The final component of the habit loop is the reward. After completing the routine, our brains release a surge of neurotransmitters that make us feel good. This reinforces the behavior and encourages us to repeat it in the future. Over time, as we continue to repeat the same cue-routine-reward cycle, the habit becomes more ingrained in our brains, making it automatic and requiring less conscious effort to perform. By understanding this process, we can work towards breaking bad habits and forming new, positive ones by intentionally choosing the cues, routines, and rewards in our daily lives. Imagine if you were an eraser in your life? What bad habits would you like to get rid of, reduce, or redeem? You don't have to keep doing the same ole things the same ole ways. Habits play a significant role in shaping our lives, dictating our actions and behaviors. You can change your bad habits and create your now. The K.I.S.S. ~ Memorize what matters! "Memorizing what matters means consciously choosing to prioritize the things that bring joy, purpose, and meaning to our lives." ~ Kristianne Wargo Here are three actionable steps to help you change your habits for the better: 1. Identify Your Triggers: Take some time to reflect on what triggers your bad habits. Is it stress, boredom, or a particular environment? Once you understand the root cause, you can begin to address it. For example, if you tend to stress-eat, find alternative coping mechanisms such as going for a walk or practicing mindfulness. 2. Create a Routine: Replace your bad habits with positive ones by establishing a routine that supports your goals. For instance, if you want to improve your physical fitness, commit to a daily workout schedule or join a fitness class. Consistency is key to forming new, healthy habits. 3. Stay Accountable: Enlist the support of a friend, coach, or mentor to hold you accountable on your journey to change. Share your goals with someone you trust and regularly check in with them to track your progress. Having someone to support and encourage you can make a significant difference in staying motivated. It's crucial to break free from the shackles of our old habits and embrace a new way of living that aligns with our values and aspirations. By consciously choosing to memorize what matters, we can pave the way for a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life. Let go of the past, embrace the present, and create a future that resonates with your purpose. CHALLENGE: What are you doing today to memorize what matters? "Our habits reflect our innermost desires, the passion that is palpable in our hearts. Choose wisely what

So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” ~ 2 Corinthians 5:20 We have a responsibility to show up the way God has called us. So why are we running in the other direction? Come back to God! Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  In a day that consumes our hearts and distracts our minds to lessen our connection to God, He still waits for you. But we keep plowing through our to-do lists, cleaning the house, cooking dinner, yelling at the kids, screaming at our sweethearts, and scrolling faster through our reels that we forget what is most important. Come back to God! God wants to work miracles in you and through you. But you have to ready your mind, body, and spirit for how He wants you to show up every day. Do life with God living authentically His way, not yours. The K.I.S.S. ~ Come back to God! As the world spins faster and faster, pulling us in every direction imaginable, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters. In the midst of chaos, stress, and distractions, the gentle whisper of God calling us back to Him can easily be drowned out. In a society that glorifies busyness and self-sufficiency, it’s all too common to let our connection with God fall by the wayside. We get caught up in the never-ending cycle of responsibilities – work, chores, relationships, social media – and we push aside the one relationship that should take priority above all else. But amidst the noise and chaos, God’s voice remains constant, beckoning us to return to Him. So why do we resist? Why do we run? Perhaps it’s the fear of surrendering control, the discomfort of facing our shortcomings, or simply the allure of worldly distractions. But in truth, God’s call to “Come back to God!” is not a demand for perfection, but an invitation to experience His grace, forgiveness, and transformative power. When you align your lives with God’s will and surrender your plans to His divine purpose, you open the door for miracles to unfold. It’s in the moments of quiet surrender, heartfelt prayer, and intentional presence that you allow God to work wonders in and through you. By choosing to walk in authenticity and obedience to HIm, His Word, and His commandments, you pave the way for His light to shine brightly in your life. So, let us heed the call. Come back to God! Prioritize your relationship with Him above all else, seeking His presence in the midst of your daily chaos and challenges. As you draw near to God with a humble heart and an open mind, you will find the strength, peace, and guidance we need to navigate life’s ups and downs with faith and assurance. Tap into God's Positioning System designed just for you (iGPS). Today, don't hesitate. Be still and feel His presence. Embrace the truth and embrace your role as an ambassador of Christ, boldly proclaiming His message of love, redemption, and salvation to a world in desperate need of hope. 3583 Transform Your Marriage One Thank You at a Time

Inside every marriage lies a secret weapon that can rescue even the most fractured relationships - gratitude. Don't let yourself stay trapped in the status quo; transform your marriage one thank you at a time. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to overlook the significance of expressing appreciation towards our partners. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  We want to get what is needed done and hit the hay, so we can start another day. What have your days looked like lately? Are they fairytale ones that have you all googly eyes and heart-pounding moments? Probably not! You are spinning your wheels, running around like a chicken with your head cut off, or simply sitting in a corner giving yourself an "oh woes me" party. What if you slowed down to actually see and hear your spouse? What if you made a point every day to express your appreciation for their presence? Taking the time to cultivate a spirit of gratitude within a marriage works wonders in strengthening the bond between spouses, fostering mutual respect, and nurturing a lasting love that can weather any storm. You will be amazed at what gratitude does for your marriage. "Gratitude is the cornerstone of a fulfilling and joyful relationship. It's like watering a garden; when you nourish it with appreciation, love blooms and grows stronger." ~ Kristianne Wargo So, if you want a stronger marriage, nourish it with appreciation. The K.I.S.S. ~ Nourish your marriage with appreciation! To facilitate the growth of gratitude and fortify the foundation of love in your marriage, here are three actionable steps that Kristianne Wargo recommends: 1. RENEW - Start Each Day with a Thank You: Embrace the power of mornings by setting the tone for the day ahead with a sincere expression of gratitude towards your spouse. Whether it's a simple "Thank you for making breakfast" or a heartfelt acknowledgment of their support, starting the day on a positive note can create a ripple effect of warmth and appreciation throughout the day. "A grateful heart sets the stage for a harmonious day. By beginning each morning with a genuine thank you, you lay the groundwork for a day filled with love and connection." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. RESTORE - Celebrate Small Moments: In the journey of marriage, it's often the little things that matter the most. Take the time to celebrate small moments of joy and kindness shared between you and your spouse. Whether it's a spontaneous hug, a shared laughter over a cup of coffee, a text, or a thoughtful gesture, acknowledging and appreciating these fleeting moments can strengthen the emotional connection between partners. "Celebrating small moments of love and joy enriches the tapestry of your marriage. When you notice and appreciate these moments, you weave a bond of gratitude that sustains your marriage through ups and downs." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. REVIVE - Express Gratitude Through Actions: While words have the power to uplift and inspire, actions speak volumes in the language of love. Show your appreciation for your spouse through thoughtful gestures, acts of service, and loving deeds that convey your gratitude in tangible ways. Whether it's preparing their favorite meal, surprising them with a handwritten note, or lending a helping hand without being asked, actions rooted in gratitude speak louder than words. "Actions fueled by gratitude demonstrate the depth of your love and appreciation for your partner. When you strive to show gratitude through your deeds, you create a bond that is resilient and unwavering." ~ Kristianne Wargo "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Embracing a spirit of gratitude within your marriage not only enriches your relationship but also nourishes your soul with love and blessings. Learn to love deep and well; it only takes one thank you at a t

3582 Do You Have a Promise to Keep?

As parents, we are always making decisions and trying to keep life running smoothly when it feels more like a train wreck. So when life has you by a thread, do you have a promise to keep? What does your world as a parent look like? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co  Seriously!  Parenting is a journey filled with highs and lows, victories and defeats, laughter and tears. It is a journey where we strive to make the best decisions for our children, to protect them from harm, and to nurture them into strong, compassionate individuals. But in a world filled with uncertainties and struggles, how can we ensure that our children grow up to be resilient and successful? Where do we draw the line for ourselves and for them? Do you have a promise to keep? I think we do as parents: to raise up our kids with the abilities to impact the world they touch. And we just can't sit back and pretend that it's going to be easy. Life will give us lemons, and our children will do the same. It's up to us to make the lemonade! The K.I.S.S. ~ Make the lemonade! It's gotta be sweet and tart, turning your tongue inside out. That's living!! Here are three impactful ways in which parents can influence their children to rise to the top: 1. Lead by Example: Children learn by observing their parents. As parents, it is essential to model the values and behaviors we wish to instill in our children. Whether it is showing kindness to others, demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity, or pursuing our passions with determination, our actions speak louder than words. "Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. Encourage Independence: While it is natural to want to protect our children from failure and disappointment, it is equally important to allow them the freedom to make mistakes and learn from them. By encouraging independence and decision-making skills, we empower our children to develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. "Empower your children to take ownership of their actions and decisions. Let them learn from their mistakes and grow stronger." ~ Kristianne Wargo 3. Foster Resilience: Life is not always smooth sailing, and challenges are inevitable. By teaching our children to embrace failures as opportunities for growth, we equip them with the resilience to navigate life's ups and downs with grace and courage. "Resilience is not about avoiding struggles but about facing them head-on and emerging stronger and wiser." ~ Kristianne Wargo In the journey of parenthood, we carry a promise in our hearts - a promise to nurture, support, and guide our children towards a bright and adventurous future. Let us embrace this promise wholeheartedly and empower our children to become the best versions of themselves. Do you have a promise to keep? Yep- go make some lemonade! "Be present. Be incredible.
