Steve's SciFi Shorts Vol 1

This first collection of Steve's Short Stories brings a mixture of the darker side of Science and what man is probably capable of achieving, whilst also bringing some humour. These short stories have allowed Steve the luxury to make a study of a particular topic that has reared its head in the world of science or technology and is currently being discussed. Steve through use of his imagination and word processor, has explored where such developments could take human kind. There is even a story that could be a ghost story, or is it about a ghost? To round things off Steve even glimses into the domain of romance. Something for everyone? Maybe, we'll leave it for you to decide. In addition to the stories, Steve also brings you, courtesy of the talented artists concerned, some great music tracks that act as the theme music for each story. Each track has been carefully chosen to match the subject matter and tone of the story concerned.

    We join some colonists, as they are about to land on a moon, with the intention of making it their new home.  Not content with living on the moon as it is, they hope to transform it into a new earth.  We follow the colonists adventure as they set about their task.     A young man has set his heart on a lot of things, but being a pilot is top of the list.  His first job in space is somewhat of a disappointment, made even worse when he sees another craft pass by.  You'll have to listen to find out just what happens.     10. To See or Not to See ( 11 Mins )

    This is kind of a ghost story, but is it really a ghost that is experienced or is it something else?  Dare I say that this story is based on personal experience, or will you lot have me carted off and locked up?  I hasten to add that significant elements of it are made up.  That's a writers job after all.     7. This Little Piggy ( 30 Mins )

    A family go on holiday, well its a kind of holiday, they are atually house and cat sitting.  Things don't start well, the key isn't where it is supposed to be and one of the cats that they are supposed to be looking after disappears.  That isn't all, but hey if I tell you any more it will ruin the story.  You'll just have to listen for yourselves.     3. Angel Without A Name ( 35 Mins )

    This is one of those stories that emerged from a random conversation with a shop keeper, a phrase came out in the conversation to the effect of "Boy Without A Name" and that got my mind working on this story.  It is one of those stories where everything isn't quite as it first seems.  I'll say no more otherwise I'll give too much away.     2. Better To Travel in Hope (19 Mins )

    When someone comes out with one of those well known sayings, do you just take them for granted?  Or does it make you wonder what lies behind them?  This was one of those times when my mind raced  and came up with this short story.  I gotta admit however, that it is one of those sayings that I never really understood, prehaps that's a good thing or I may have never come up with this story.     This story re-visits book 1 in the Regenis 4 Chronicles series and concentrates on the rescue of Edward Glaceons, in book 1, the rescue is credited to Richard Glaceons, Edward's brother.  In this story, however, we find the real truth, he had the outside help of two visitors.  You'll have to listen to the story to find out who they were and how they managed it.
