#97. With the Big Picture in Mind

How can we help our children get motivated to learn.
When we learn something in a pleasant way we are motivated to continue learning it.
In Suzuki Talent Education we start by creating the environment for the child to want to learn an instrument.
We want them to become self-motivated, to have the desire to move to the next step and acquire an ability.
We want to help them develop self- discipline, so they could use these tools for life.
How do you pass on to your child the love of music.
The way you approach the practice will be the way your child approaches it.
You plant the seed and wait for the mystery to unfold, and all the while you keep the big picture in mind.
