Love Jon Kay
5 de out.
This would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the addition of Iona Italia as a host. I haven’t made it through a single one of her episodes. She needs serious help with interviewing skills, editing, and sound production. Even then, I’m afraid she just has a voice for print. I absolutely love Jon Kay - he’s an excellent interviewer and his episodes are always very engaging.
The host makes the difference

Jonathan is an engaging and interesting host. Iona is quite bad. I sped up an Iona episode to 1.5x and it was still slow and boring with lots of um’s. But the Jonathan episodes are a highlight for me when they come out.
Getting worse
26 de set.
The new host is unfortunately not nice to listen to, and she hosts about 50% of the episodes now. I can’t get through her episodes — just skip them.
It might be free but it ain’t thought
26 de set.
Since when does “free thought” mean reactionary diatribes about subjects you know nothing about?
