Kathryn Ryberg is a Research Librarian who teaches information literacy in FYS and other research-focused classes. She has been at Hood for five years. Her interests include Open Education Resources, misinformation, and DEI issues at work. Outside of work, baking and glass art are her main diversions.
Dr. David Gurzick is an Associate Professor of Management Science at Hood College. He holds a B.S. in computer science from Frostburg State University, an M.S. in computer science from Hood College, and a Ph.D. in information systems from the University of Maryland. He is a graduate of Harvard's business analytics program. Today, he leverages his expertise to merge technology and business strategy to enable innovation and accelerate commercial success. Dr. Gurzick is particularly enthusiastic about the potential of generative ei ai and large language models to revolutionize how we interact with information and technology. He is committed to exploring the applications of these powerful tools to create new opportunities, enhance communication, and improve decision-making processes.
