Customer Reviews
I’m not really interested in history, but I enjoy this podcast.
I’m a bit biased because Don is my brother-in-law and Alexis is my niece, and I probably wouldn’t have stumbled on this podcast were it not for that relationship. Nonetheless, I continue listening not because of familial obligations but because the content is interesting and they present history in a totally different light Plus, it’s obvious they have researched the topics in advance because they always offer some interesting insights. If my high school history teachers had taken a similar approach, perhaps I wouldn’t have to rely on a podcast to discover that history can be interesting. Thanks, Don and Alexis!
But where are the what ifs?
Have listened to a few of these and will give
It more time but - where are the what if’s? The very first one spends the entire time talking about how important Washington was and not saying anything about how it would be different if he had been assassinated!
Great to see!
Great stuff! Measured, well reasoned speculation that does a great job at avoiding extreme political preaching and instead treats history with a professional, moderate approach.
Interesting propositions, including some classic what ifs and many listeners might not have thought of!
