A Good Story is Hard to Find

I love this podcast. They cover some really great books and movies and I have a great list of to-read and to-watch now for the ones I haven’t seen!

Scott and Julie's podcast has introduced me to so many wonderful books and movies. I love the way they find "the one reality" in each new episode and how insightful their discussions are.

I found this from the "happy catholic" blog a few years ago, and have listened to it faithfully since, going back & listening to many of the early ones. Very eclectic in subject, and engaging in conversation. I don't always like the things they do (my favorite political quote: if you agree with me on 9/12 issues, vote for me; if you agree on 12/12 issues, see a psychiatrist -- Ed Koch), but they are all worth a try, and the podcast is always worth a listen! I find the Catholic perspective enriching, but I think I would enjoy the thoughtful analysis without it...

I always enjoy listing to the discussion on this podcast. It doesn't matter if I have read/seen the book/movie being discussed. If I haven't read/seen the book/movie I'm likely to come away with something new I want to read/watch.
