A Petty Girls Guide to Success (and failure) in the workplace: Season 1 Trailer
When Ash & CC worked at "The Cupola" they faced many challenges. Everything from normal office politics, to truly bizarre situations. Often, when they would bring up real issues and concerns about the many problems within the building they were called "petty" or "immature" by leadership. After many years of this the girls saw through the gaslighting and decided it was time to leave. Their feelings are complicated and sometimes raw- this podcast was created to help them express their loss, find healing, and eventually be able to move on.
But not yet.
We're still feeling petty.

Rather, please listen with an open mind and remember that this is one community among many in a very broken system. We could be telling the story of any Senior Living Facility in the US. Our experience is our own, we do not claim to be experts nor are we seeking revenge. Horrifying funny.
Despite the title, these girls are obviously passionate about caring for the aging. The antidotes are both funny and so sad. I highly recommend for those of us aging, have parents that are aging or are in the healthcare or residential care field. Very eye opening!

I just finished your first episode! IM SO GLAD YOU’RE DOING IT! I’ve experienced similar things, but didn’t realize it was an over arching issue in that business. It makes complete sense though, and breaks my heart because yes- staff truly care for these people and we see them everyday and love them. But it’s unsustainable the expectations. Anyway. I think your podcast is validating and I truly hope it makes an impact!

First episode in and I can already tell this series is going to be great! It touches the truth behind the frontier of Senior Living.. it’s all the more better when you can actually relate. The underdogs are rising up in this podcast and I am living for it!
