Accessing public bus service and visiting cafe by trans men

“My relatives in the restaurant were staring at me” - Meet

In this podcast Meet and Priyansh (pseudonym) , two trans men, talk about their experience of finding a salon, visiting a cafe and accessing public bus services. Their ways of navigating these spaces and accessing the services will give you insights to how still a lot of services are inaccessible to trans* persons but at the same time some people tried to give them affirmative services.

Thodi Si Zameen, Thoda Aasman is a podcast series brought to you by Nazariya to highlight and document experiences of queer and trans* persons in accessing services such as salons, restaurants, public transport, hospitals, clinics, etc.

Nazariya’s Our Lives Our Tales (OLOT) is a series that documents the lived realities of queer women and trans* persons to preserve and pass along histories that might otherwise be lost with them. As part of the series, we are launching this podcast - Thodi Si Zameen, Thoda Aasman.
