How Do You Assess the Value of a Coach?

How Do You Assess the Value of a Coach?

One of the hardest questions to answer as practitioners is "how do you show and/or demonstrate the value of an agile coach?" Spurred by a recent article by Jesse Fewell, we gathered a bunch of people who were free on Black Friday to discuss. Join us as we have a chat with Jonathan Schneider, Joel Zeinestone, & Mike Caddell on this long-running, difficult topic. Cheers! Jesse's article that we discussed

NOTE - apologies for some audio difficulties, Jay's connection was spotty as his wife was streaming Yellowstone in 4k and eating his bandwith :)
This episode we've been meaning to do for years but have never gotten around to it; we were so surprised to find other practitioners actually utilizing Otto Scharmer's TheoryU that we convened a panel to discuss!  What is it?  How does it work?  And most importantly, how do you apply this theory in our everyday lives?  Join The World's Best Cold Fusion Developer, The Mad Dog, and Pete OK as they discuss.  Enjoy!

    The Great Resignation

    The Great Resignation

Welcome to our first episode of 2022! In this week's discussion we sit down with a murderer's row of agile practitioners to discuss "The Great Resignation".  Some of these folks have recently changed jobs, others are on the hunt, we have a recruiter in the mix, and yet others are wondering "is it the time to jump ship?"  What companies will make out during this giant transition?  What companies won't?  Listen in to hear our thoughts!

Great podcast!

Agile talk with witty banter. What more could you ask for?!

Mustamil ,

Essential listening for the next wave of agile

Professionally done and carefully curated, I recommend this podcast to anyone who's interested in where agile has been and where it's headed. This is the good stuff!

MichaelNordmeyer ,

Low sound and production quality

Bad sound captured by bad microphones in bad environments. Sounds like someone is talking on the phone while on the subway.

Topics and guests are good, but it's more of a coffee table chat with lots of anecdotes by famous guests. Sometimes entertaining, mostly boring.

If you're desperate and want to kill time, this podcast might do it for you. But when time is somewhat limited the Internet has more useful things about agile to offer.
