Man! All the presidents?

This podcast was fantastic. I was back in my college political science class having my mind exploded! Thank you all for this 👏🏻👏🏻

Most engaging US history lesson!

This felt like a fireside chat with my favorite history teacher (that’s the scene that played in my head as I listed). Thanks for this - both educational and insightful. I’m sharing with my own students!

Interesting, but biased

This is a very interesting and entertaining series of “sound bites” about the presidents. He does some good analysis of some of the presidents and shares interesting tidbits and contradictions about the people who have held this office.

As a former history teacher and history geek, I was disappointed about the times when his opinion is presented as fact (his 1 sentence explanation of why Puerto Rico is not a state, for example), and a few small errors that don’t matter in the big picture, but a disappointing from an educator specializing in the topic.

One of the things that is most important in helping students and people understand history is to remind them that people in history are subjects of their time and place, and we should not judge them in all things by current beliefs; to do so means that many of our actions today, and beliefs we hold sacrosanct and moral, will be judged as ignorant and evil in the future, as ideas and science are dynamic and advancing constantly.

Overall, I recommend it, but removed stars for inability to remain neutral.
