She was previously a visiting assistant professor at Syracuse University, a lecturer at Northeastern University, and an instructor at Union Theological Seminary and The General Theological Seminary. She has published numerous scholarly articles about gender, sacrifice, and ritual in the Bible and her work was included in “A Question of Sex? Gender and Difference in the Hebrew Bible and Beyond,” edited by Deborah Rooke as well as other collections.
Her book is “Sacrifice and Gender in Biblical Law.”
