    Emily Pike

    14-year-old Emily Pike went missing from her group home in Mesa, Arizona on January 27, 2025. Her remains were found on February 14, 2025, off Highway 60 North near Milepost 277 on Forest Service Road #355, just east of Globe, Arizona. Her case didn’t garner much attention until the Gila County Sheriff’s Office leaked an internal memo describing the horrific way she was found. Her case has since sparked outrage and demand for reform in cases of missing and murdered indigenous persons.   Emily was a Native American female from the San Carlos Apache Tribe. She had brown hair, brown eyes, was 4’10” and weighed 115lbs. She was last seen wearing a pink and gray shirt.     Erin Marie Gilbert

    On July 1, 1995, 24-year-old Erin Gilbert attended the 20th annual Forest Fair in Girdwood, Alaska, with a man she had met a week earlier at a local bar but never returned home. Investigators say that while they have no suspects, they’d still like to speak with her date to better understand exactly what happened that night.   Erin is 5’11 with hazel eyes and brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she weighed approximately 145lbs and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, a black and white striped shirt, black jeans, and brown mountain boots.     Amber Barker

    In Oklahoma City, on December 18th, 1997, 10-year-old Amber Renee Barker called her mom to let her know she was about to start the half-mile bike ride home from a friend’s house, but she never made it home, and her case remains unsolved.   Amber Renee Barker was 10 years old when she went missing from Oklahoma City on December 18, 1997. She is a white female. At the time of her disappearance, she was 5 feet tall, weighed 80 pounds, and had long brown hair. Her ears are pierced, and she was last seen wearing a beige long-sleeve sweater with a brown collar, black jeans, and a pair of No Excuses brand sneakers.   Anyone with any information is asked to call the Oklahoma City Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 405-297-1000 or Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.     Aubrey Dameron

    This episode originally aired on August 10, 2023.   At around 3:30 am on March 9, 2019, 25-year-old Aubrey Dameron left her mother’s house near Grove, Oklahoma. She told her family that she was going to meet someone. Aubrey hasn’t been seen since.   This is a case full of confusing leads. Allegations that Aubrey was kidnapped and being held for ransom, an alleged murder confession, and evidence that, in my opinion, needs another look.   For years, Aubrey’s family has searched high and low, but no sign of her has been found. They are desperate for answers.   If you listen to my other podcast, Disappearances, you know that I’ve discussed Aubrey’s case before. I did a joint episode discussing Aubrey and the disappearance of Anthonette Cayedito with a heavy focus on the epidemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous people. It is a very informative episode that is very close to my heart. So, if you’re looking for more information on this epidemic, I absolutely recommend listening to that.   Now we worked on that episode back in 2021, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about these cases, and since then, there have been some updates in Aubrey’s case. So, I thought I would try to bring Aubrey back into the spotlight and draw even more attention to her case with a full-length episode on just Aubrey.   At the time of her disappearance, Aubrey, a 5 foot 9, 130-pound Cherokee woman with brown hair and eyes, was wearing a black leather jacket, black top, black skirt, black knitted hose, and black boots.     The West Mesa Murders

    On February 2nd, 2009, Christine Ross was walking her dog, Ruca, in the West Mesa area of Albuquerque, New Mexico, when they found human remains. When the site was fully searched and excavated, the remains of eleven women were found and identified: Veronica Romero, Doreen Marquez, Michelle Valdez, Virginia Cloven, Monica Candelaria, Jamie Barela, Victoria Chavez, Syllannia Edwards, Julie Nieto, Evelyn Salazar, and Cinnamon Elks. Their cases remain unsolved.   Investigators with the Albuquerque Police Department believe that the cases of eight additional women who went missing from the area around the same time may be related. Their names are Anna Vigil, Felipa Gonzalez, Shawntell Waites, Nina Herron, Vanessa Reed, Jillian Ortiz Henderson, Martha Jo Lucher, and Leah Peebles.   If you have any information about any of these women, please call Crime Stoppers at 505-843-STOP.     Barbara and Patricia Grimes

    On December 28th, 1956, on the south side of Chicago, 12-year-old Patricia Grimes and her 15-year-old sister Barbara Grimes left their home to go to the Brighton theater to watch Elvis Presley’s movie Love Me Tender for the 11th time. The sisters were seen at the theater by classmates and then seemingly vanished. Despite being the subjects of one of the largest, most expensive, and most labor-intensive manhunts in Cook County history, and even with a personal plea from Elvis Presley himself, they were never seen alive again.   Anyone with information is asked to call the Cook County Sheriff’s cold case unit at 708-865-4549.
