CHELSEA POST-MATCH: Battling Back at the Bridge
It’s been a good run for Everton going into the int’l break that was capped off by a tie at Chelsea that felt more like a win. The ATP is here (for episode 350!!) sans Alex to get into all the details of the 2-2 draw that showed S-word in abundance. James and Ryan get into the tactical battle of Potter vs. Dyche, Enzo/Kovacic vs. Onana/Gana, Reece James vs. McNeil/Godfrey (okay, that didn’t go well), Simms vs. Koulibaly (that went better), and talk about alternatives at CF and CB going forward. The duo get into all sorts of interesting stats and a ton of listener comments, which very much helped James spend much of the episode trying to get Ryan to actually say the S-word so thank you…tune in to see how he fares.

BRENTFORD POST-MATCH: Taking the Buzz out of the Bees
The ATP are finally all together for a win as Everton take all the points today from Brentford at Goodison with a 1-0 victory. From the early McNeil goal to the nail biting last 30 minutes, Alex, James, and Ryan bring you all the action and insight. Certainly the referees and disallowed goal is a point of serious analysis, but they look at the effectiveness of Dwight McNeil, the impact of Thomas Frank’s changes in the 62’, the performance of Michael Keane vs. Conor Coady, the lack of mistakes of Gana Gueye, the threat of Demarai Gray vs. Neal Maupay, and even a dialog of what the impact would be of DCL. The ATP also have a TON of listener comments and finally get a chance to let loose and have a bit of fun celebrating a win for the first time in a long time.

FOREST POST-MATCH: Two Leads Lost at City Ground
James and Alex are here to provide their reactions to Everton’s 2-2 draw away against fellow relegation contenders Nottingham Forest. The Toffees twice took the lead in the first half only to let the 3 points slip through their fingers through a Brennan Johnson brace. A&J discuss Godfrey at LB, the midfield shape, the questionable (per usual) refereeing decisions, and the path for Everton moving forward. Thanks as always to our listeners for providing great comments to help drive the dialogue!

ARSENAL POST-MATCH: Evisceration at the Emirates
The ATP bring you all the lowlights this week after a brutal loss in London. James and Ryan walk thru the beating and try to make sense of what we witnessed. We get into some of the tactics in detail including the first goal and try and figure out where Everton goes from here. We appreciate the listener comments that guided the show this week. We hope it provides some respite from a difficult match to enjoy.
Topics include:
-Why Michael Keane over Yerry Mina?
-Did Dyche throw in the towel with his subs, looking ahead to Sunday's fixture against Nottingham Forest?
-Ongoing criticisms of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with some choice words for those abusing him on social media.

VILLA POST-MATCH: Taylor-Made Loss At Goodison
The full trio is back to bring you all the highs and the lows (mostly lows) from Everton’s loss at Goodison. It’s hard to argue that 2-0 wasn’t a harsh scoreline as there were some very good signs from the Toffees, but ultimately, a couple large mistakes and some below standard officiating even for the PL did Everton in. Alex, James, and Ryan digest the finer details of the match and try to answer some of the bigger questions surrounding the performance and the future. How can Everton create more chances or score more goals? Is this all on the lack of a CF? Is firing crosses into Maupay the right approach? Can Dyche adapt and/or was the higher press a tactical example of him doing just that? How much of Everton’s defensive issues are the result of Conor Coady? While it’s looking grim for Everton, the performance wasn’t all bad and the trio also look towards the future with a bunch of listener comments.

LEEDS POST-MATCH: A Little Bit of Seamus Coleman Magic
The Power Trio is back in full force to capture all the magic of a massive 1-0 win at Goodison that sends Leeds and our American brethren into the relegation zone and Everton to safety (at least for now). Alex, James, and Ryan are here to get into the lineups, tactics, the ebbs, the flows, and the massive goal by 60 Grand Seamus Coleman to send the Goodison crowd into uproar. While not the prettiest match, there was a lot to talk about:
-An unchanged but much maligned backline
-The key matchup of Coleman (and Iwobi) vs. Gnonto
-The performance of Neal Maupay (aka the Moped)
-How Everton actually created chances in the final third (and why they were so poor at converting them)
We’ve got lots of listener comments, interesting stats, and some classic AJR interplay to make this one of our most enjoyable episodes in some time. Enjoy!

Just recently found
I LOVE this show. As an American Toffee and the closest supporters club being 5 hours away. I at least can get my fix.
Love the depth
As being an American Everton fan now for about 15 years and what I consider lack of knowledge of football (soccer), I appreciate the the depth you gentlemen go into the analysis of our club on every level.
Thanks
Boring
Used to enjoy this show but it’s gotten really stale. Seems to be a vehicle for Ryan’s ego and rarely entertains anymore. Needs some new guests and a format that isn’t so bland. Miss the early days with James and Alex.
