Android Faithful

My go-to Android pod. I love the hosts, they’re all knowledgeable and fun to listen to. It’s just like I’m having a conversation with my buddies about tech. Keep it up guys

Started off good, then Jason Howell showed up and brought the “TWiT” vibe, which is not a good thing and lead to me stopping my Patreon support. Now there’s too many hosts talking over each other, too many low-quality ads, too much off-topic conversation, poorly researched news (you can hear Jason stumbling through the website as he records) and Jason and Ron spend way too much of their time telling you how to give them more money or buy merch. I get it, they need income but they’re doing it in all the wrong ways just like the TWiT formula, which is failing. I now understand why one of the original hosts is trying to quietly leave the podcast. Also, please no more Flo! I’m so tired of her using this platform to complain about her personal life. Her reviews aren’t worth putting up with the rest. We get it, you’re a “Californian”. There’s one exception to all of this and that’s Mishaal! If this was just MishaalI, Ron and Huyen then I’d stick around and happily pay for this podcast. Jason has injected so many terrible ads into this podcast and the website that I just can’t anymore. This had such promise with the original three but now it’s gone completely sideways.

This podcast is a great Android news podcast that includes peeps Ron Richards and Huyen Tue Dao from the former AAA show on Twit and Mishaal Rahman! Lots of great discussion and occasionally a cool guest.

Lovely to see our stars from All About Android inspired to continue the conversation. I look forward to another 15 years. When will the video version be available, especially on Spotify so your fans can make it go viral. PS A portion of your audience listens on Apple Podcasts, maybe try not to put us down quite so much.
