Love the show! Great content. I live in north western Montana. Near the divide. We have lots of lakes with similar fishing conditions and species. Love all the great info, especially pike strategies. Keep it coming!!!

I started wanting to learn how to fish two months ago, when my Dad passed away. He and I would fish when life and schedules would allow. He and I were very close and with life becoming even more hectic with kids and work, etc, I decided it was time to have a hobby. I feel very close to my Dad when I’m out shore fishing in reservoirs where I live (an hour north of NYC). I have a 1 hour commute each way to work and your podcasts have energized me to try this hobby. I haven’t yet been dismayed when I’ve lost a lure (like on my first cast yesterday) and I became a gold member in Patreon for your show because you two make me feel like I could be successful at fishing and I appreciate that greatly. I can’t wait for the day I can share a photo of my first catch, but until then, I will continue to enjoy your podcast. It’s a great show full of details and humor. Thank you! The title says it all. As an avid angler for years I have listened to many different fishing pods, most of which suffer from inconsistent publishing, poor audio, bloated content from advertising and empty banter. Not these guys. Every episode is well-thought out, moves at pace, has great audio, provides applicable fishing guidance to anglers of all skill levels and most of all it’s FUN. The hosts are funny and knowledgeable while remaining humble and relatable. Listening to them feels like you’re having a beer with friends you’ve known for years after a long day out on the water (but without the swearing) Their advice has definitely put more fish in my boat while passing many miles on my commute. Subscribe to these guys, you’ll be glad you did. 100%
