Since, April is Financial Literacy Month, what better time than now, to have an honest conversation about the green in our lives?
Growing up, we did not discuss money, it's such a personal matter that asking about it would appear rude. However, in this season of my life, I decided to get real about it with you. Hopefully, by the time you get through this article, we will both have learned some things.
I am no expert in this topic - not even close, to help me dissect the money matters, I invited an experienced professional to our platform.

Jose Julian and Miguel Angel Garcia joined AW to discuss their new film, The Long Game.
Inspired by Humberto Garcia's book "Mustang Miracles." The film takes us on the journey of a true story about five Mexican American caddies who created a golf course in the South Texas brush country in 1955.
With next to no professional experience, and subpar and old equipment, these determined young men went on to battle against all-white rich men and win the 1957 Texas State High School Golf Championship.
The cast's chemistry felt so special - genuine. The film is about self-worth, self-respect and never giving up. It was also a reminder of Latinos' contributions to the US Military and sports.
