Bibi for new co-host

After listening to Bibi guest co-host on Click Bait, I think she would be a good option to replace Rachel. She has the spiciness to balance Becca’s sweetness. She’s opinionated and funny and I don’t think she would be afraid to ask the guests hard questions.

Not the same without Rachel Lindsay

This podcast just isn’t the same without Rachel’s opinions and voice. Also it seems like Tayshia tries to assert herself too much as a mentor to Katie and ends up talking down about Katie. I’m loving Katie’s season, she comes off as such a strong woman and brings a lot of interesting and meaningful content to the show (finally!). Really wish I still had Rachel to help breakdown each episode afterwards

Loved the podcast

Update: I am really enjoying Becca interact with the various cohosts that are replacing Rachel, especially Catherine. I think the interview with Michael was handled so well, giving him the time and space to tell his incredible story. Both Becca and Catherine asked good questions, and both knew when to just listen and take it in. While Rachel had some interesting, humorous moments as cohost, it is so nice to be absent of anger, blaming, contention, stereotyping, and just overall and constant negativity at a time when many people are struggling with issues before and after Covid. Catherine knows how to strike the balance between thoughtful, intelligent conversation, when to be critical, when to be humorous, when to just be a sympathetic listener. Great balance between Becca and Catherine-maybe because they both seem to be good people.

Becca Becca Becca, I listened to you on Blake's podcast and was so happy to get the authentic Becca back, the strong, opinionated (yet open-minded), self-assured, and witty young woman we all saw on the Bachelorette. I know different people being out different sides of a person, but I think Rachel's polarizing and judgmental views (often labeling contestants and politicizing everything), is silencing your beautiful voice. The criticisms about the politics on the podcast I think are because Rachel is so quick to judge, often being hypocritical in her views. I was always a Rachel fan too, and I share many of her beliefs, but there is an anger (perhaps justifiably) that is filtering onto the podcast and her guests, as well as you Becca. Perhaps consider another person to host with you, or better yet, you are good enough to be on your own. Rachel has very right to be angry, but it is also providing that energy on the podcast and losing the respect of many people.

I’ve always tried to write a positive review (see the one before last), but after hearing Rachel say she feels muted but welcomes criticism, I want to offer an explanation. I don’t think a reviewer should personally attack any podcast host, but criticism of behaviors in order to offer up what could be better should be welcomed as a way to improve. From looking back at the most recent reviews, it looks like the common thread reflect behavior that is judgmental, that fails to appreciate difference, that judges all people who look alike as having one story, and in fact, should consider “muting” as a way to be a better listener. It also seems like Becca is afraid to have an opinion about important issues that differ from Rachel, which is problematic in a real friendship. I really enjoy your guests, but I think the hosts of this podcast need to welcome diversity in a more comprehensive way, and try to understand even the stories that are different from your own as podcast hosts. Please see criticism of behaviors as different from personal attacks .

Please Rachel and Becca- return to your earlier days when the podcast began. I use to be so excited each time an episode came out- it was a chance to be entertained while learning some things. Now, I see a more franchised version of Rachel and an insecure and always trying to please Becca. I understand that you are a franchise podcast, but please stay honest and loyal to your own authenticity, and Becca, find your voice again. You will never please everyone, and even a friend, if you lose a friend because of what you believe and/say, you know they are not really your friend. Something happened after your breakup with Garrett, and I know breakups are extremely difficult, but I also feel that you are afraid to offend and acquiesce to what you think others want you to say.

Updated review: as you can see below, I have been a fan of the podcast until now. Although I have known that it is an official bachelor podcast, I now see the incredible influence that this has on both Rachel and Becca. I do not understand how you both see Clare as such a strong woman; her words and actions reveal just the opposite— an insecure, dependent woman, who needs in particular verbal validation by a man. I also feel that when an individual, male or female is in fact a strong, confident person, they do not need to tell anyone of these qualities. When you are strong and confident, you exude those qualities, and you do not need to self-describe. I feel that you both sell out on this recent episode, and as strong, confident women yourselves, I wonder if you actually mean what you say about Clare, because it just doesn’t seem justified. I wish that the podcast would return to the earlier days when you both seem more confident and independent enough to speak unhampered. I don’t know if you read the reviews or care, but as a supporter,
I hope that you do. I couldn’t listen to the last podcast and believe what you were saying.

Rachel and Becca, you are both such strong women and excellent, insightful interviewers. Please have Barb and Peter back to further explain what actually happened. I would also be interested in hearing Madison’s explanation of her own decision-making.

Rachel, this is such a valuable, interesting podcast that sometimes I forget that the genre and topics are bachelor-related. I loved the conversation between you and Krystol and Bibiana; how powerful and genuine it was. I also hope that you know that your podcast is so appreciated and that you embody such a wonderful interviewer; you know just when to lead and when to listen ( rare in this bachelor-podcast world). I hope that you never feel under-appreciated. You are beautiful, intelligent, honest, and so multi-talented. Five stars!

Best episode with Rachel, Krystal, and Nick. This was the best dynamic of strength, authenticity, and depth. Rachel, you are to be admired in so many ways, and I hope that you have Krystal as a cohost, as she complements your own strength and honesty, along with Nick who shows this side wonderfully on this podcast. Loved this episode and the podcast overall. Five stars!
