BAD BOY POD

I like the comaradery of the two hosts- they have funny sound effects and a dynamic friendship. This reminds me of being a kid eavesdropping on my older sister and one of her friends talking about whatever. The thing that rankles me to give the lower rating is the fact that they don't seem to do much of any research on the subjects they are discussing, be it celebrity gossip/ metoo news or politics in the U.S. The analysis is very surface level and is used for comedic fodder to further their own prejudices. Nevertheless, I tune in from time time to time, hoping for an episode that doesn't reek of factual inaccuracies, as i get tired of yelling at my ipod in my car, when I know it cannot hear me.

Bad Boy Pod is amazing. Healing the decades stupid men continue to waste on their egoic talk shows, Bad Boy Pod delivers the perfect combination of entertaining banter, playful irreverence & meaningful real talk BY WOMEN about celebrity men (+folk) who need to be held accountable for the harm they cause. Zoë Klar and Julia Davidovich are brilliant comedians with a perfectly curated collection of drops that will quickly become a part of listeners’ inner circle’s everyday dialects (*it’s true!*). This show has become an oasis for me! *turkey gobble* I look forward to it every Thursday and my bff and I text about it every week. The best episodes in my opinions are when y’all get enough deep research and content to really rip the titled dude deeply for at least half of the show. I love when the bad boys are big deal dudes like John Lennon. I love getting the real dirty tea about misunderstood, beloved men such as him (puke). My only request is more of those deep roast epis! But I also want Zoë & Julia to have abundant chill time. Thank you so much for continuing to show up each week with respect, solidarity, and a solid sense of humor. Thank you for bringing so much fun into feminism + social justice. Love you. *Beautiful Zoëëëë*

i’ve been sufficiently guilted into leaving a 5 star review after listening religiously every week and occasionally dropping in on zoe’s tiktok lives (it’s me, marmaladethighs!) the podcast is hilarious, the only thing i don’t like is that i recently moved and ended up listening through every old episode while i was unpacking so now i have to wait for new ones to come out every week. also, not enough diane. maybe she can have her own regular segment. ya’ll are my fave, thanks for getting me through my move! also zoe i asked you this on one of your lives and you said eminem, so i’ll pose the question to julia too. who is the bad boy you can’t help but love, and why is it cuckerberg?
