One of the best podcasts I’ve ever found
Genuinely the most fascinating podcast I’ve come across thus far. The only podcast that has made me consider going over to patreon for more content. I’m completely hooked. I find myself constantly wanting to listen to another episode but also worried I’m going to run out of episodes to binge. Fantastic work Jack! Keep em coming!!
Host is too much about himself
Really love this genre and listening to the first hand experiences from a broad audience is great. The only thing I can’t stand are the intros and outros when the host talks about himself, which is irrelevant. Gives it a California vibe. The best documentaries are not about the filmmaker. I listen to the pod. But I wish the host would take a step back and realize his work speaks for itself and he doesn’t need to self promote so hard. If he gets funding or picked up I’d love to hear “experts” ex: that can diagnose what entity it is. Or more information about historical locations (research). Until then I fast forward the opening 6min until the story starts from the guest.

This is such a fascinating podcast. I can’t get enough of it! I love to drive sometimes aimlessly and will put this on and just get lost. It’s so exciting in mysterious! Each true story out does the last! And Jack Wagner is such a wonderful host. He always seems to ask the questions I’m thinking in my head and seems to laugh when I feel like laughing! Jack Wagner, I hope you never stop making these podcasts! Thank you so much!
