85: How consistent daily habits changed my life
It's not about what you do once every now and then: It's about what you do on a daily basis thats going to make the most change, give you the most success and make you the most happy.
Consistency over perfection every single day.
Is what you are doing on a daily basis line up with where you want to be?
Take a look and work out a new plan going forward, it does not have to be extreme. Small steps win the race.
There is no better feeling than being focused and clear on your goals and where you are heading. No matter what you want to achieve in life; whether that be a personal or professional goal, the key is to remain consistent. You may have heard “consistency is key” but this couldn’t be more true. I realised how important consistency was when I wrote down my goals and the action steps I needed to take for all of them was to be CONSISTENT in that action.
Journal prompts on creating consistent habits:
1. What does consistency mean for me?
2. In what areas of my life could really benefit from me being consistent?
3. How would my life change if I could be consistent?
4. How important is being consistent to me?

81: Life lessons after cancer with Melanie Green
Today I am joined by an awe inspiring guest Melanie Green.
Melanie was diagnosed with breast cancer a week after her 48th birthday. She started writing a blog to process all my emotions during my treatment, which then evolved into But Seriously, Who Knew?
She is now retired, at the age of 52, and travelling the world as much as possible with her husband, whilst continuing to write - so maybe not retired after all!
We discuss:
- Life during and after cancer
- Biggest lessons learnt after surviving cancer: the appreciation of the little things, taking risks… saying yes more! But also saying no and feeling proud in standing your ground
- How writing a small blog has turned into Melanie being an international author, helping others going through a similar journey but also being a lifeline for family members to relate to what their loved ones are going through
You can follow Melanie on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok - she would love to hear from you: @melaniegreen_author You can find her book on Amazon or in most book stores: (But Seriously, Who Knew?)
