There’s a reason the History Channel has produced hundreds of documentaries about Hitler but only a few about Dwight D. Eisenhower. Bad guys (and gals) are eternally fascinating. Behind the Bastards dives in past the Cliffs Notes of the worst humans in history and exposes the bizarre realities of their lives. Listeners will learn about the young adult novels that helped Hitler form his monstrous ideology, the founder of Blackwater’s insane quest to build his own Air Force, the bizarre lives of the sons and daughters of dictators and Saddam Hussein’s side career as a trashy romance novelist.

Solar punk Anarchists

Thanks for opening up my horizons! It’s great to hear that other people are out there prioritizing these ideals, mutual aid and just the whole spectrum of turning awareness into positive action. Your show and the CZM network have i real impact and I hope to relay that inspiration outward and into the bedrock of our future as humanity. Aloha from Waipio vally on Hawai’i island. And Mahalo Nui Loa!

Left wing propaganda

It’s pretty much just left wing propaganda and historical fiction.

So close to being great

Excellent research and topics but man does this podcast need an aggressive editor. Most of the side commentary is shockingly self indulgent especially from the producer and the whole show could benefit from cutting most of it. While I suspect it’s fun to record these, more thought needs to be paid to creating a more cohesive product.
