Deus te amat
This is old curmudgeonly Tom in California, the widower you took into the Nest a few years ago after I heard Ian’s plug for your podcast and told you how much listening to the two of you helped rekindle my late wife’s place in my home. I so sympathize with Marjorie and Elizabeth too. I cried again listening to Marjorie’s return broadcast.
As Ian signed off of his broadcasts I just want to say: “Deus te amat, and I do too!”
Love and loss
My heart breaks for Margery as she grieves Ian’s passing. Listening to the third encore episode it’s easy to see that he was absolutely delightful, as is Margery. I’m reminded of an earlier episode where Margery said she liked to keep the phone line open while she an Ian were apart to hear him typing as she drifted off to sleep. That, my friends is love. Sending peace and love to you and your sons as you go through this most difficult time.
