Great guests, not-so-great hosts!

As a 35-year band director, arranger, and composer, when I discovered this podcast I was very excited to listen to discussions with all the different guests whose names are literally a “who’s who” in our field. In an effort to try to be like the SmartLess podcast, there are some funny moments. especially because everyone’s connection to the field and relatability to some of the conversation points. With that said, the constant interruptions from the hosts, distractions from the sound effects that aren’t always necessary and often cover up the conversation, and overall stuff that really isn’t that funny. it’s a little too “inside baseball” between the hosts…especially if you really don’t know the hosts. So, great guests and not-so-great hosts.
