EP 5: Can people really change?

2020 has been a year of change. From the pandemic to the presidential election, it’s clear that the world will never be the same after this year – and neither will all of us who experienced it. In the season finale, Bill and Rashida explore how progress hinges on society’s ability to evolve, how our view of the world shifts as we get older, and whether it’s actually possible to change someone’s mind. Then they’re joined by two people who are using their positions as artists to change the world for the better: Bono and Kerry Washington.

Honesty is a core value in most cultures. But humanity has always been obsessed with untruths, from little white lies to vast conspiracy theories. Good chemistry, informative

Bill and Rashida have really good chemistry in terms of the way they shift back and forth during the discussion. Rashida asks good questions and shares her insightful views. Bill is very smart, incredibly well read and also reflects a real-world perspective because he’s invested in most of these areas through the work of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Consequently he’s well informed on the topics. The guests are interesting and knowledgeable, and the pattern of the show works well - talk for 10, guest for 30, talk for 10. This allows them to set a good foundation for the discussion before bringing in an expert, and they end the show with their reflections on the guests’ comments and their own experience. Please make more of these!

Well this was a dud…

This show only lasted five episodes.

I guess big name celebrity doesn’t translate to quality content, no matter how much money you have.
