    Happy Bastards

    Happy Bastards

Bill kicks things off saying they are building the podcast one step, one punch, one round at a time. But things get punchier when Danny shares his boxing workout woes, complete with his wife's stance corrections.Bill, challenges Danny to bring in his mitts and do focus mitts with Bill and they film it.  Bill then recounts an eyebrow-raising gym encounter involving a questionable outfit on a fellow gym-goer. Bill poses a hypothetical to Danny: if complaints poured in about the gym fashionista, what would Danny do?   Bill got a call from a freind who is producing a Netflix reality show featuring some big names, but one said he was on a 2024 NFL roster and asked Bill to confirm.  Bill with the help of Danny's buddy Peter Montamurno have since helped launch an entire reality TV story line, this is interesting and could lead to some real sparks. But it's not all lightheartedness as Bill delves into the controversial realm of plastic surgery billboards, suggesting a bold move involving D.A. Sandra Doorley's transformation. Brace yourself for a deep dive into social media responses, with Bill addressing criticisms of being "easy" on Doorley's traffic debacle, Kaylee, a SUNY Cortland student interning in the New York State Legislature, joins the conversation to dissect college campus protests supporting Palestine. Bill challenges, Kaylee responds, and differing views collide in a thought-provoking exchange. And if you're a music aficionado, Dan delivers a review of the latest Black Crowes album and the band's current trajectory. Sincere Apologies

    Sincere Apologies

On this episode of Billified: The Bill Moran Podcast, Bill welcomes back Mark, who prefers to keep a low profile but finds himself thrust into the spotlight right from the start. Joined by returning guest Matt and Kevin, they dive into the latest in sports, kicking off with Matt's optimistic take on the NFL draft, particularly focusing on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

As the conversation unfolds, they shift gears to discuss the NFL Commissioner's stance on preseason games versus regular season matchups, finding common ground in their agreement for change. However, the mood takes a sharp turn as they dissect Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley's recent apology, prompting speculation about her sincerity amidst allegations of intoxication.

Matt and Mark raise eyebrows with their theory, suggesting Doorley may have been under the influence during the incident in question. Bill, taken aback, attempts to rationalize the timing of such behavior, only to be met with a convincing argument from his guests. The podcast takes a surprising twist as Bill presents a unique rendition of Doorley's apology, shedding new light on the controversy.

The intrigue escalates as the spotlight shifts to Leticia Astacio, the controversial City Court Judge, who ignites further drama with her social media antics. Bill plays her mocking remarks directed at Doorley, prompting speculation about her motives. Special guest Geoffrey Rogers, founder of GSL News, weighs in on the unfolding saga, offering insights into the potential changes within the District Attorney's office.

Geoffrey's own recent brush with controversy adds another layer of intrigue, as he addresses a recent car accident while live streaming. With tensions running high, the podcast takes an unexpected turn as the hosts dial Astacio's number live inviting listeners to witness the outcome.

The episode takes a lighter turn with a round of "Who is Creepier?", where Mark selects the most unsettling scenario from Bill's collection of true tales. However, differing opinions emerge, setting the stage for a spirited debate. Finally, a round of "Closest to the Pin" brings the episode to a close, inviting listeners to join in the fun and test their knowledge against the hosts'. Enjoy!

    Hall Pass

    Hall Pass

Bill is fired up from an insult he received from Dan, and he's ready to hash it out. But first, let's talk about something a little more fun: hall passes in marriage. Bill, Dan, and Kevin discuss whether they have one, with some surprising answers and a lot of laughs.

Then, we're joined by Peter Montamurno, live from the NFL draft in Detroit. Peter paints a vivid picture of the event and gives his predictions, including who he thinks the Bills should pick with their first-round selection.

But back to the drama. Bill confronts Dan about his insult and reads a "podcastitutional amendment" he wrote, leading to a tense but respectful discussion about past grievances and misunderstandings. And just when things seem to simmer down, Kevin uncovers Bill's Summer Song, adding a perfect soundtrack to the episode.

I can see that you’re not hugely popular and that you only have 34 comments and reviews, but it’s stooping pretty low to have someone on and publicly shame them (unbeknownst to them) for their mental health issues. It’s wonderful if you’ve never had to experience what it feels like to lose control of your mind. It was painful for me to listen to that podcast. No one is perfect and no one lives without making mistakes and people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
