BOA #170 - People Eyes are Anxious for Others!

Paul’s words about Timothy’s care for the Philippians reveal that he is “genuinely concerned for your welfare.” Philippians 2:20

The sense of this is, “Timothy is anxious for you,” he worries about you because he actually cares for you, misses you, wants the best for you!”

We have often talked about the gift of “people eyes,” the eyes of Jesus for people.

Timothy’s caring heart is the reflection of the people eyes of Jesus.

Jesus “sees” us as we really are, often harassed and helpless, worn down and thrown down. Jesus reaches to you out of his anxiety of caring, the anxious compassion that seeks your well-being!

Ask Jesus for his people eyes to see the people in your life the way he sees them. Then ask for and act on the courage you need to step into their lives with encouragement!
