We turned to our amazing Pet Boss Club® members and asked them–

This episode features Karla Novoa, one of the owners of Hungry Tails in Boston, Massachusetts.

Karla and her business partner, Jose, are coming up on the 1st anniversary of their doors opening, but Karla (who has a background in finance) wanted to really track the store’s progress by analyzing the one thing that will NEVER lie– the numbers!

In this episode, Candace and Karla discuss:

🦴Karla’s journey as a newer business owner who has no experience in retail, and how she has successfully managed her pet retail store while still working her full-time corporate job.

🦴Which numbers Karla is closely tracking in her business, and which ones she should start tracking in order to measure her growth.

🦴Why comparing your pet business to another pet business in an apples to apples fashion doesn’t really work, and how you can figure out where you fall on the map of success.

🦴Some industry standard goals to keep in the back of your mind while checking the numbers each week, month, and year.

    🦴And MORE!!!
