I will be talking to both survivors of sexual assault and people in recovery. Every episode and each guest will be allowed to be as transparent as he or she chooses to be. However, not every guest will disclose their name. This podcast will adhere to the AA/NA anonymity within recovery.

Episode 3... The Battle Within: Rising Above
Episode 3 is especially special to me because my guest is a woman of great strength and desire to live life on life's terms while living her best life within the recovery community. Niky G. is the type of woman whom you'd want your child to be mentored by. Her story is extremely compelling and raw. She has overcome a lot of obstacles and doesn't deny that life still hands her lemons sometimes. What is different now is how she deals with life on life's terms...with dignity, reaching out, being of service, using her tool-belt and telling her story of pain, sex, drugs, and alcohol.
