    This week Jane tells us about serial killer Cary Stayner. He confessed to 4 murders in the Yosemite National Park area in under 6 months. Some investigators think he may be responsible for more but an FBI agent believes he would have confessed to more if he was guilty of those. Deklan tells us about several UFO abduction experiences that occurred in Berkshire county Massachusetts.     This week Jane tells us about the kidnapping of 7 yo Steven Stayner. He was kidnapped by Kenneth Parnell who kept Steven for 7 long years and told everyone that Steven was his son. When Parnell kidnapped another young child, Timmy White, Steven helped the young boy and the two escaped. Deklan tells us about the possession of a young child who was given the pseudonym, Roland Doe. He went through more than one exorcism through the Catholic church. His story was the inspiration for the popular movie, The Exorcism. We also enjoy the Yosemite cocktail.     This week Deklan tells us about the tragic love story between punk rock star Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen. The couple had a quick connection but their love story didn’t last long. It ended tragically when Nancy was killed and Sid died soon after. Sid was accused of murdering Nancy but people close to the couple say that Sid wouldn’t do that to his true love. Jane tells us about a Christmas miracle that happened to the Hermanstorfer family. Tracy Hermanstorfer went into labor on Christmas eve. Suddenly the happiest day took a turn but a miracle happened. Years later, there is still no explanation of the turn of events but will make you believe in miracles. We also drink the Pepinos Pistol cocktail.     #123: Hero-Captain Sully, Heist-Canadian Maple Syrup, and the Bourbon Maple Leaf Cocktail

    This week Deklan tells us about the life of Chesley Sullenberger, more commonly known as Captain Sully. He had an interest in flying since he was a young boy and spent his life working as a pilot and helping other pilots. He became a hero in 2009 when he safely crash landed a plane in the Hudson River, saving all souls on board. Jane tells us about an interesting heist in Canada which involved a tasty breakfast table staple. In 2012 it was discovered that over 9,500 barrels of maple syrup had been stolen from a warehouse. But why would anyone steal syrup? To sell on the black market of course. We also enjoy the Bourbon Maple Leaf cocktail.     #122: Poison-Graham Young, UFO-Colares Brazil, and Hot Toddy drink

    This week Deklan tells us about Graham Young who had a deep interest in chemistry and Nazis. He liked to read books about both and he liked to slip poison into drinks of family and friends. Several people became sick after drinking something Young had fed them and a few of the victims died. Jane tells us about strange lights that were seen over an island off the coast of Brazil. In 1977, dozens of witnesses and victims reported seeing lights in the sky. These weren’t your average UFO sightings because several victims also reported burns and puncture wounds that resulted from an experience with the lights. A military investigation took 4 months but then the results were classified. Twenty years later the lead of the investigation spoke out but then died suddenly leading to many conspiracy theories about the entire situation. We also drink the Hot Toddy drink.     #121: Serial-Gerard Schaefer Jr, Con-Steven J Russell, Fall from the tree cocktail

    This week Jane tells us about suspected serial killer Gerard Schaefer Jr. who also had the nickname “Killer Cop.” He was convicted of kidnapping 2 teens and then later convicted of killing 2 other teen girls. After his convictions, he wrote many stories that he claimed were fiction but privately told a friend the stories were true. It’s unknown how many victims he had but is suspected to be several dozen. Deklan tells us about the conman Steven J Russell. He had a pattern of getting convicted for crimes and then escaping jail. Through his many fraud cases and escapes he ended up with a long sentence of 144 years in jail. We also drink the Fall From the Tree cocktail.     #120: Deadly-Anthrax attacks 2001, Strange-Presidential turkey pardon, and the Armed and Dangerous Anthrax Cocktail

    This week Deklan tells us about the deadly attacks using the postal system and anthrax. In 2001, just after the 9/11 attacks, several people received mail that caused several people to become ill and others to die. It was discovered that someone was sending letters containing the spores of anthrax. Did they ever determine who did it? Jane talks turkeys in honor of Thanksgiving! She tells us about a strange tradition in the US involving turkeys and the holiday. Diving back in history the first turkey pardon seems to have started with President Lincoln but it wasn’t adopted as a true tradition until President Bush Sr. We also drink the long named Armed and Dangerous-Anthrax Cocktail.     #119: Missing-Maura Murray, Haunted-Heceta Head Lighthouse, and the Foghorn Cocktail

    This week Deklan tells us about the strange scene of a car accident in New Hampshire from 2004. The vehicle had been involved in a small accident on the side of the road. One witness reported speaking to a woman who claimed to have called AAA for assistance. The owner of the vehicle was Maura Murray. It is presumed that she was driving the vehicle but she hasn’t been seen since then. Jane tells us the history of Heceta Head lighthouse on the Oregon Coast. The tower and its outbuildings have existed for over 100 years. With that long of a history it is of course reported to be haunted. From ghosts who sweep the attic to ghost cats seen walking the property there are plenty of spooky things to make it the creepiest place on the Oregon coast according to HGTV.
